Mo Eyitsede – Web & Media
This director is responsible for managing the CES website and social media accounts. The CES website is currently a Google Site but the goal is to improve the professionalism of the website. The ideal candidate would have some experience in website design/development.
Core Responsibilities:
Conducting website maintenance
Performing basic website management and updates
Monitoring and scheduling social media interactions
Documenting all social events and conferences for social media
Jacinta Jameson – Events
This director is responsible for planning, organizing, and executing events for the CES. The ideal candidate would have strong organizational skills and experience in event planning.
Core Responsibilities:
Coordinating and managing all CES events
Collaborating with the executive team to ensure events align with the society's goals and objectives
Managing event budgets and ensuring cost-effective planning
Promoting events through various channels to maximize participation
Documenting and evaluating the success of each event to improve future planning
Kellan Perfect – Director of Design
The design director is responsible for all things creative in CES. This is a new directorship for the 2022 year and needs someone with a solid background in Photoshop, Illustrator, or parallel software. This is an opportunity to have your artwork worn by not only ‘Stoga students, but also by hundreds of engineering students across the province.
Core responsibilities:
Making all event posters and social media advertisements
Designing merchandise, patches, and other swag
Developing special event logos, such as for frosh week
Vacant – Director of Outreach
The purpose of the director of outreach is to organize and conduct outreach events aimed at connecting with high-schools, organizations, and other external events. They also will lead the NEM committee as they organize and run all NEM events during the month of March. These events will consist of an external event such as an event affiliated with the Canadian Federation of Engineering Students (CFES).
In addition, there will be internal events that could include but are not limited to; Mini-Conference, high school design challenge, speaker series, outreach events, and public displays of awesomeness.
Core Responsibilities:
Maintain contact with CFES for potential events
Coordinate meetings with NEM volunteering team
Establish Sponsorship
Create and run at least one internal event
Visit surrounding public schools to promote the engineering profession

Leadership is about contributing in ways that matter to you and the people around you.
With all directorships, sub-directors can be assigned to reduce the workload on one director if needed.
